Following the latest government advice on Covid-19 and the closure of all pubs, the club will be closed until further notice.
The Musical Traditions Club aims to present the finest traditional singers from Britain and Ireland in a friendly and appreciative atmosphere.

Following the latest government advice on Covid-19 and the closure of all pubs, the club will be closed until further notice.
The club meets about once a month on Fridays (see the current programme for dates). Past guests have included Len Graham, Gordon Hall, Fred Jordan, Elizabeth Stewart, Sheila Stewart, and Roisin White.
We take pride in the strength of our resident singers and musicians, who include: Peta Webb, Ken Hall, Dan Quinn, Jim Ward, The Rakes, and Roger Digby & Liz Giddings.
The club was founded thirty years ago -- in October 1990 -- in the spirit of Musical Traditions magazine, now happily available in electronic form on the Web. Over the years Kevin McDonnell has taken many photos of the club. and posted them on his Flickr Photostream.
From 2005 to 2011 the club organised a festival in honour of Keith Summers, one of the club's founders, who died in 2004. The funding for this has now run out but we are now organsing smaller-scale gatherings each year.

The pub is a friendly local serving real ales (including Adnams) on the corner of Foley Street and Cleveland Street in the Fitzrovia area of the West End of London. There is a map of the area on the UK Street Map Page.
The nearest tube station is Goodge Street (Northern Line, Charing Cross Branch); Oxford Circus, Great Portland Street, and Warren Street are within easy walking distance too. Public transport information can be obtained from Transport for London. Parking in the evening is easier than you might imagine -- and although we're within the congestion charging zone, it doesn't apply after 6pm.
Admission is normally £9.00 (concessions £8.00); Members £8.00 (concessions £7.00). Cash only (sorry, no cards) on the door from 7.30. Membership is no longer compulsory but members will be given priority.
